TENNIS
A college-preparatory tennis program built from the ground up by a former NAIA collegiate head coach — someone who has recruited players into college programs and knows exactly what those coaches look for.
NAIA
Collegiate head coach
Our program is led by the former head men’s and women’s coach at Freed-Hardeman University.
TOP 7
National ranking reached
His teams reached top-10 and top-7 NAIA national rankings, with conference and regional titles.
15+
Years in education
A classroom teacher and instructional leader as well as a coach — rare in this sport.
2
Pathways guided
Direct guidance through both NCAA and NAIA recruiting, from someone who has sat on the other side of it.
The program
A NEW PROGRAM, BUILT BY SOMEONE WHO HAS DONE IT BEFORE
We will be direct with you, because tennis families deserve it. This program is new. We are building it now, and the athletes who join the first cohorts will shape what it becomes.
What is not new is the person building it. Kean Anderson ran a nationally ranked collegiate tennis program, recruited internationally and domestically, and developed All-American, All-Region and All-Conference players. He has designed high-performance training for athletes from beginner level through to college-ready.
Our mission is to develop well-rounded, competitive and disciplined student-athletes in an environment where they can maximise their academic, athletic and personal potential — through elite technical, tactical, physical and mental training.
If your son or daughter wants a program where the coach knows their name, tracks their development personally, and has real relationships with college coaches across the United States, that is exactly what we are building.
Coaching staff
HE HAS BEEN THE COACH ON THE OTHER END OF THE PHONE
Most junior tennis coaches send emails to college programs. Ours used to receive them. For a family thinking about a scholarship, that difference is the most valuable thing this program offers.

How we train
FOUR PILLARS, EVERY DAY
01
Technical
Elite stroke development. Groundstrokes, serve, return and net game built and rebuilt until they hold up under pressure.
02
Tactical
Match strategy, pattern play and opponent reading — plus film review, so athletes see what the coach sees.
03
Physical
Strength and conditioning with physical development staff, built around movement, rotational power and injury prevention.
04
Mental
Tennis is the loneliest sport on a team calendar. We train resilience, routine and competitive mindset as deliberately as we train a forehand.

The Academy of Central Florida gear package
ADD TENNIS-SPECIFIC EQUIPMENT HERE — ball machines, radar, video analysis, stringing service. The list above is shared across all our sports and says nothing about tennis.
Competition — PLACEHOLDER SECTION
WHERE WE COMPETE
PLACEHOLDER. The tennis brochure names no tournaments and no sanctioning body. For a tennis family this is the first question they ask, because rankings decide recruitment. Fill both columns below or delete this entire row.
SANCTIONING AND RANKING
ADD: do athletes compete in USTA sanctioned tournaments, and at what level — Level 1 through 7, or national?
ADD: does the program develop and track UTR ratings?
ADD: is there an ITF junior pathway for international athletes?
These three answers matter more to a tennis parent than anything else on this page.
TOURNAMENT SCHEDULE
ADD TOURNAMENT NAMES AND LOCATIONS.
The brochure promises an in-state and out-of-state competition schedule. Naming the events is what turns that promise into a reason to enrol.
If the first competitive season is not scheduled yet, say so plainly instead. A founding family will respect an honest timeline far more than a vague claim.
Courts and campus
WHERE THEY TRAIN. WHERE THEY LIVE.
DESCRIBE THE COURTS HERE. How many, what surface, on campus or at a partner facility, lit for evening play, how far from the school? For tennis this is the single most important paragraph on the page, and the brochure never answers it.
A full fitness center, classrooms and a computer lab sit on our Orlando campus, with supervised residential homes minutes away and scheduled transport between them.
A HOME, NOT A DORM
Boarding athletes live in supervised residential homes in East Orlando — full kitchens, living space, outdoor space — rather than in institutional dormitories. For a fifteen-year-old moving countries to chase a ranking, that difference matters.
Vans run scheduled routes between housing, campus and the courts for classes, training and tournament departures. Meals are chef-catered, three per day, Monday through Friday.

Academics
THE HALF OF THIS THAT DECIDES THEIR LIFE
Every tennis athlete here is enrolled in our full-time college-preparatory high school. Not a partner school. Not an online correspondence program bolted onto a training academy.
That matters more in tennis than in almost any other sport. Junior players travel constantly, and academics are usually the first thing to slip. Ours do not, because the school and the training are one institution on one calendar.
The curriculum carries dual enrollment for college credit before graduation, and applied electives in sports management, financial education and social media management.
Our head coach spent more than fifteen years as a classroom teacher and instructional leader before this. He is not indifferent to the academic side, and neither are we.
