Our philosophy
WE DEVELOP THE ATHLETE AND THE PERSON
The Academy of Central Florida gives its students the chance to learn what sport teaches better than anything else — self-discipline, competition, leadership, teamwork, sportsmanship, character and community.
We are committed to academic excellence, and to seeing our students perform in the classroom as well as they do in competition.
The Academy was founded to change how players are trained and developed, and to meet the particular needs of student-athletes. Our approach is holistic. Physical skills matter, but so does mental and emotional growth, and we build a place where athletes can do well in their sport and in their lives.
Our athletes work with experienced coaches and educators, train with modern equipment, and compete at a level that gets them seen. Beyond that, we are building character in young adults and preparing them for the world — integrity, resilience and leadership, on the field and off it.
That is the promise of The Academy.

CHOOSE YOUR PASSION
Every program has its own page with coaching staff, competition schedule, training model and results. A family choosing an academy deserves detail, not a download.
BOYS BASKETBALL
SIAA champions. Five teams from junior varsity to post-graduate, a 28-game national schedule, and a staff with Olympic and Division I pedigree.
GIRLS BASKETBALL
Three team levels, a schedule against IMG and Montverde, and athletes signed to Iona, FIU, Monroe College and more.
BOYS SOCCER
NACA national champions, 17-3-4 in the title season, coached by a former professional in the Netherlands and Japan.
BOYS BASEBALL
Four levels including post-graduate, coached by a former Atlanta Braves draft pick who was on Puerto Rico’s 2023 World Baseball Classic staff.
GIRLS VOLLEYBALL
Three team levels and twelve months of daily development, against a three-month high school season.
TENNIS
A college-preparatory program led by a former NAIA collegiate head coach who took teams to top-7 national rankings.
POST-GRAD BASKETBALL
A fifth year of exposure and development against junior colleges, NAIA programs and top post-graduate teams, with full NCAA eligibility preserved.
BOYS VOLLEYBALL
ADD ONE LINE OF DESCRIPTION. Led by a director with six AAU and seven USAV national championships — CONFIRM THIS IS THE BOYS PROGRAM COACH.
BMX
ADD ONE LINE OF DESCRIPTION. BMX is the most distinctive program on this list and nothing on the site explains it.
The same standard in every sport
FOUR DISCIPLINES, EVERY DAY
Whatever sport your athlete plays, the week is built the same way. Coaching is sport-specific. Everything around it is shared.
01
Team practice
College-level practice structure and volume across the full academic year, run by the staff that coaches the games.
02
Skill development
Position-specific individual work outside team sessions, with coaches and with the equipment to measure it.
03
Strength and conditioning
Physical development staff, a full fitness center, and a program built around injury prevention as much as output.
04
Film and recovery
Individual and team film, plus medical training and recovery sessions by reservation — cryotherapy, compression and massage.
Included across every program: VertiMax, Raptor training system, FitLights, game streaming, recruiting evaluations and scout reports, an in-house photo, video and social media team, and The Academy gear package.

The other half
NONE OF THIS WORKS WITHOUT THE CLASSROOM
Every athlete on this page is enrolled in our own full-time college-preparatory high school. Not a partner campus. Not an online correspondence program bolted onto a training business.
NCAA eligibility is tracked from grade nine, so nobody discovers a problem in their senior year. Dual enrollment earns college credit before graduation. Applied electives cover sports management, financial education and social media management.
A scholarship offer is worth nothing without the transcript to accept it.

JOIN THE ELITE
Rosters are filled on a rolling basis and close before the season does. Send transcripts and evaluation film with your application — or call and talk it through with the coach for your sport first. Most families do.
